was one of the winners of the Mykon competition in 2008, the result of the competition has brought Doro unimaginable opportunities as she is now working as a full time designer for the company due to her success in the competition. Doro entered the competition during her final year at London Metropolitan where she was studying a HND in Furniture Design and Realisation, she saw the notice advertising the competition and felt a propelling desire to enter.

Doro became so passionate about her competition entry that this resulted in her using her design idea as her final project piece at university, allowing her to dedicate enough time and enthusiasm to her entry. Doro has always had a passion for design and this was reflected especially in her competition entry, she wanted to demonstrate the capabilities of the Mykon products coupled with the fact that she had researched the company and decided that her executive desk design would be a perfect fit for Mykons innovative and design led company image.
