Mykon at 100% Design!

16 July 2014.

We are pleased to announce that Mykon will be exhibiting at 100% Design, under the Eco, Design and Build section. 100% Design is the most important event of the year for the UK design industry, and it will take place from the 17th-20th of September 2014 at Earls Court, London. This year is very special because we will be celebrating 100% Design’s 20th anniversary. On top of that, Mykon will show the collaboration with the multi-award winning designer Alexander Purcell Rodrigues by showcasing The Blade table. The Blade table takes advantage of the high-strength to weight ratio of aluminium honeycomb and new techniques in fabrication to create an impossibly thin and elegant table that is reduced to its purest form. The love story started when Alex was inspired by Mykon features, during 100% Design last September. Both are working together now on the creation of a stunning dining table, which will be showcased at Mykon’s stand. Alex has provided the design, while the Mykon Engineering Team is working on the product development. Visit Mykon on stand E350!

Mykon Releases New Products

Mykon is pleased to announced that it has expanded its range of panels, adding two new designs to its portfolio. The new Airo panel is made using a polycarbonate tube-like structure, enclosed between two rigid sheets of polycarbonate or acrylic, resulting in a strong, lightweight panel typical of the Mykon range, but with even more style. There are two Airo options; a random effect produced by using different-sized polypropylene tubing, and well as a regular, even-sized tube core. Mykon's new printed panel, also recently released, is produced using the classic aluminium honeycomb centre of our B-Lite panels, encased between sheets of glass or acrylic.
